Introduction to the East Mosque: The Kakilinka Mosque is divided into two mosques, the east and west mosques. Kakilinka means "Hui Garden" in Tibetan and is a settlement of the Hui people in Lhasa. It was first built in the 55th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1716). Located in the western suburbs of Lhasa City. There are two mosques in Kakilinka, one in the east and one in the west, tens of meters apart. The east mosque chapel is rectangular, with an area of ​​105 square meters, 15 rooms, and a clear internal height of 2.3 meters. On the north side of the shrine is the "Mingbar", where the imam lectures.
