Introduction to Balqude Temple: Balqude Temple is one of the largest temples in Linzhi area, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters. It is located halfway up the mountain in Duiba Village, Lang Town, Lang County, Linzhi Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. It was built in 1195 AD by two living Buddhas, Suolangshenge and Suolangjieb. It originally belonged to the Geju sect, but later changed to the Gelug sect due to religious struggles.
