Introduction to Qu Nantong: Qu Nantong means "black water dam". The dam is not big, but the river is very big. When you go down the mountain, you can hear the roar of the river. The Qunan River originates from the main peak of Kawagebo, runs through the snow-capped mountains from north to south, gathers water from many snow-capped mountains along the way, and rushes toward the Nu River in a turbulent flow. The triangular Qu Na Tong Bazi on the riverside is the natural triangular Dharma Source Palace (the symbol of Vajra Dakini), in which there are three powerful iron pestles. The sound of the Qunan River is the sound of reciting the mantra of Chakrasamvara and the scriptures of Mahaprajna Sutra, Kangyur and Tengyur. The Qunan River lies in front of pedestrians, which is daunting. Since ancient times, the most feared thing for pedestrians turning to Kawagebo is crossing the Qunantong River. But this has become history. In 2000, Zhaba Living Buddha of Hongpo Temple mobilized Yunling villagers to raise funds to build a new bridge. Now this chain bridge spans the river, and the bridge piers are also poured with concrete, so pedestrians can cross safely.
