Introduction to Qugu Temple: Qugu Temple, built on the mountain, was originally called "Niebu Ri Sect". There is a stone statue of Buddha (Qugu), so it is called "Qugu Temple". It is located in Pulan County, Ngari Prefecture, north of the county headquarters and west of Mount Kailash. It is the first temple encountered on the way to the mountain. There are many holy relics around the temple: on the rock wall where the temple is located, there are the imprints of Naropa's conch and copper pot when they flew into the sky, and there is Jidun spring nearby; below the temple there are convex rocks symbolizing the Maitreya Buddha Palace, and the footprints of Tara. There are also Langqin Baipu (Elephant Hermit Cave) and "Top Bun Zunsheng Pagoda". From here, you can go northwest along the narrow valley to reach the Three Longevity Peaks. Crossing the Laqu River and continuing forward, there is a colorful stream called "Gangdise Manna" on the dark side ahead. Several peaks nearby symbolize the Gongbeng Palace and its accompanying gods, yaks and hunting dogs.
