Introduction to Thangka: Thangka, translated as "scroll painting" in Tibetan, is a type of painting with the richest Tibetan characteristics. It is a scroll painting framed with colored satin and painted on silk, cloth or paper. It mainly focuses on religious figures, religious historical events, and teachings, and also touches on topics such as Tibetan astronomy and calendar, Tibetan medicine, and Tibetan medicine. There are nearly 10,000 thangkas preserved in the Potala Palace, the largest of which can reach tens of meters.
