Introduction to Tibetan Sea Buckthorn: Tibetan Sea Buckthorn is a dwarf shrub in the family Elaeaceae, 4-60 cm high, and rarely up to 1 meter; the leaf axils usually have no thorns. Single leaves, three-leaf whorled or opposite, sparsely alternate, linear or oblong-shaped, with blunt ends, whole edges that are not recurved, sparse white scales on the upper surface when young, which fall off when mature, dark green, grayish white below. Densely covered with silvery white and scattered with a few small brown scales. Dioecious; when mature, the fruit is yellowish brown, juicy, broad oval or nearly round, with slender, brown fruit stems. The flowering period is from May to June, and the fruiting period is in September.
