Introduction to the Tieling White Pagoda: The Tieling White Pagoda was originally called the Yuantong Temple Pagoda. The existing building was restored in the 19th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty by Mrs. Li Chengliang, the commander-in-chief of Liaodong, who funded the renovation. Because the bricks used in the construction are archaeologically called Gouwen bricks, which are characteristic bricks of the Liao Dynasty, the cultural relics department identified the tower as a Liao tower. However, there are also articles saying that this pagoda was built during the Dading period of Jin Dynasty, but its construction date will never be earlier than that of Liao Dynasty.
