Introduction to the Shadow Monument: The Shadow Monument faces south and faces north. It is 6.5 meters high, 8.5 meters long and 0.86 meters thick. It is carved with bricks. The upper part is made of overlapping flower patterns and is carved into a beautifully decorated top edge; in the middle of the shadow monument is a superb art work of "a dragon emerging from the water and playing with a pearl". The dragon is based on the mythical story of the King of Medicine diagnosing the dragon. The shape is lifelike, the posture is vivid, and the clouds and water waves add to the aura of soaring clouds and water.
