Sitting in the pavilion, you can see the lake and mountains, and hear the sound of waves and the chirping of birds. Comrade Zhang Guisheng, the former secretary of the Ruian Municipal Party Committee and poet, specially wrote a couplet for Yousi Pavilion: "The green trees and blue waves complement each other, and the fish and birds live happily together." The calligrapher Zhang Ruyuan also once presented a couplet, which is the "Green mountains are not ink for thousands of years" on this column. Painting, stream without strings and ancient harp. "Did you just notice the five pairs of stone statues lined up in front of the pavilion? They are five pairs of stone horses and stone generals. They were built by local stonemasons in memory of the Ming Dynasty during the Shunzhi period of the early Qing Dynasty. It was carved by Li Weiyue, the imperial minister. Li Weiyue was a native of Chengguan, Ruian, and a Juren of Yimao in Wanli of the Ming Dynasty. He was appointed as the Pujiang Order during the Chongzhen period and was an upright official. After the fall of the Ming Dynasty, he converted to Buddhism and was buried in Tongxi after his death. These five pairs of stone statues were originally placed in front of Li Weiyue's tomb. After the reservoir was built in 1958, Li Weiyue's tomb was submerged under the reservoir, and General Shi Ma Shi also disappeared. Later, a man named He Xiliang organized a group of people to drain the water from the reservoir, and then they found General Shi Ma Shi.
