Introduction to the painted portrait scroll of Jiajing King Ming: Ming Dynasty. Paper, with heavy colors, 148 cm in length and 71.3 cm in width. The content is King Ming, the peacock base and two attendants. Above, King Ming wears a crown, a flower crown on his forehead, bare chest, and a red cassock. He has his hands clasped together and is sitting half-lotus on a lotus seat. The lotus seat is located on the peacock. The peacock stands with its legs upright in a screen-like shape, spreading along the aperture behind King Ming. On the left and right sides of King Ming's head, there is an angry King Ming. In the middle of the lower part of the picture, there is a lotus flower inscribed with a nameplate with five lines of straight writing; on the right side of the nameplate is a square frame with six lines of straight writing.
