Monument introduction: The monument is in the shape of a tower, 12 meters high; the base angle is 1.9 meters high, divided into three sections, each section is 50 centimeters; the flag on the top of the monument is 2.6 meters long. These data are combined to form three data: 1935, 12, and 26. That is, 1935 was the year when the Red Army won the Long March across Chishui. December 26 was Chairman Mao’s birthday. The base angle of the monument is triangular because it points out the direction of the Red Army's second and fourth crossing of Chishui. During the Qingming Festival, local primary and secondary school students as well as ordinary people come here to present flower baskets made by themselves to commemorate the great achievements of the revolutionary martyrs.
