Introduction to the Arch of Constantine: The Arch of Constantine (Arco di Costantino) is located on the west side of the ancient Roman Arena. It was built to commemorate Emperor Constantine's victory over Emperor Maxentius and his unification of the Roman Empire.
Construction of the Triumphal Arch of Constantine began after 312 AD. It is 25.7 meters long, 7.4 meters wide, and 21 meters high. It has 3 arches. Most of the sculptures on it are reliefs, and most of them came from other parts of the Roman Empire at that time. Collected from buildings, the most famous of which are the eight reliefs on the top of the Arc de Triomphe, which were dismantled from the monument to Emperor Marc Orluo and are now in the Capitol Museum.
