Introduction to the Avar Cliff: The Avar Cliff (Middle Elephant Trunk Hill) is the middle one among the three Elephant Trunk Hills on the seaside of Etretat, regardless of size or location. The most notable symbol is the one standing next to it. Rocks in the sea. This is a naturally formed arched rock. The middle part has been eroded by weathering and seawater to form an arched hole. From a distance, it looks like an elephant slowly walking into the water. The outer rocks are like the elephant's trunk going deep into the water.
