Mur Island - Water Theater Introduction: Mur Island is an artificial island located on the Mur River. It was established to celebrate the "Graz 2003 City of Culture" and was established by New York, USA. Designed by designer Vito Acconci, the main structure is made of thick silver steel pipes and glass intertwined into a network, with bridges on both sides connecting the river banks. Viewed from the river bank, the entire spiral island looks like a huge silver shell. It is considered a classic that blends art and architecture, fantasy and reality. The water theater is a multi-functional platform, like a ship anchored in the river, with an amphitheater, a coffee bar and a children's playground, connected to the river bank by pedestrian bridges at both ends.
