Introduction to the Drina River: The Drina River is 346 kilometers long. It is formed by the confluence of the Tara and Piva rivers and finally flows into the Sava River. This river is the longest tributary on the right bank of the Sava River in the Balkan Peninsula. It is rich in hydropower resources. The upper reaches and tributaries are famous for their freshwater fishery.
