Green space introduction: The Parliament building is surrounded by green space, including several small gardens. Among them, the Victoria Tower Garden on the riverside on the south side of the palace is open to the public as a park, and the adjacent Black Rod Garden (named after the Black Rod Office) ) is used as a dedicated passage for the building. There is a concrete security barrier in front of the old palace courtyard in front of the building. Cromwell Green, New Palace (north) and Speaker's Green (directly north of the palace) are all internal venues and are not open to the public. Klinger Green, on the other side of the House of Lords, is a small triangular green space often used for television interviews with dignitaries.
