Introduction to the monument: On the front of the monument are engraved "The place where the people's hero Comrade Yang Jingyu died for the country" in 12 large block letters, and on the back is the resume of Comrade Yang Jingyu. The entire stele body is made of carefully ground bluestone. The stone strips on both sides of the stele body are engraved with national-style zigzag patterns, red lights, sea waves and other decorative patterns. The head of the stele is ridged into a corrugated shape.
