Introduction to the Yellow Salon: The Yellow Salon is the first room on the side of Schönbrunn Palace facing the garden. It was once the bedroom of Maria Theresa and Franz Joseph in the early days of their marriage. The furniture and decoration in the room show Rococo and New Classical style. The pastel paintings in the room are the works of Leodard, and they mostly depict children of common people. Compared with the portraits of Maria Theresa's children in other rooms, the painting style is very realistic.
