Introduction to Little Venice: Little Venice was the former fishermen's gathering area of Bamberg and is today known as "Little Venice". It consists of a row of beautifully decorated wooden houses, most of which are remnants of the Middle Ages. The small and exquisite courtyard is also a mooring place for various boats, forming a gorgeous and romantic landscape on the banks of the Regnitz River. The best place to stroll around Little Venice is on the Am Leinritt riverside path on the opposite bank.
