Ostrich introduction: Ostrich reliefs mainly appear in mausoleum stone carvings after the prosperous Tang Dynasty. There are two ostrich reliefs in the east and west of Qiaoling Mausoleum. They are high fleshy reliefs carved on a stone screen about 2 meters high and 2 meters wide. The strong legs of the ostrich stand on the rockery, looking back and leaning against the wings. The feathers are plump, vivid and natural, and the carving method is exquisite. It is far from comparable to the ostrich stone carvings of Qianling, Jianling, Jingling, Chongling and other mausoleums. It is actually a masterpiece in the art of stone carving. A treasure that is now well preserved.
