Introduction to Wang Maoyin’s former residence: Wang Maoyin’s ancestral home was in Qizili Village. The house was destroyed by war during the Taiping Rebellion. After he retired, he bought this house and settled in Yicheng Village.
The former residence is located in the center of the village. The main house has three couplets. The name of the hall "Dunrentang" is written in Li Hongzhang's handwriting on the plaque. There are three buildings on the right side. It was built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. The main door is placed in the left corridor. There is an inverted hall behind the middle hall. There are patios at the front and back. Its partitions, doors and windows were changed to the Beijing style, with larger latticework and colored glass inlays, and bamboo woven mats with swastika patterns were pasted under the floor of the central hall.
