Introduction to Ya'er Lake Thousand Buddha Caves: Ya'er Lake Thousand Buddha Caves are located on the south bank of the valley southwest of the ancient city of Jiaohe, Xinjiang. Grottoes are carved on the cliff. The cave area is 40 meters long from east to west, and there are 7 existing caves. There is a long platform about 5 meters wide in front of the cave, and the bottom of the platform is about 20 meters deep from the bottom of the valley. The contents of the murals in the cave include bhikkhu donors, pictures of sermons, images of Uighurs offering sacrifices, etc., as well as some Chinese and Turkic inscriptions. There are different opinions on the age of the Ya'er Lake Grottoes.
