Introduction to Kamibayashi Memorial Hall: Kamibayashi Memorial Hall is located near the Phoenix Hall of Byodo-in Temple. It was originally the building of the Harumatsu family of Kamibayashi who served as the tea master of the Imperial Palace and the shogunate. It was later built into a tea memorial hall for collection and exhibition. Documents related to Uji tea masters collected by Kamibayashi Harumatsu's family and other materials were published.
