Introduction to Union Oyster House: The Union Oyster House is located on Union Street in the North End District. This restaurant opened in 1826 and is known as the oldest restaurant in the United States. The building where the restaurant is located is nearly 300 years old and is a landmark of the North End District. French Emperor Louis-Philippe made a living by teaching French on the second floor of this building during his exile from 1830 to 1846; the famous U.S. Senator Danny Webster and the Kennedy family liked this restaurant very much. President Kennedy's seat is still reserved.
