Introduction to the Jewish Quarter: In 1516, Jews were forced to live here under the force of the Republic government, mainly in the area of today's Jewish Square (Campo Ghetto Nuove). The striking high-rise buildings here are designed to accommodate more people on limited land. The synagogue Sinagoghe and Judaism-related shops are located here. In one corner of the square, there is also the Jewish Chapel and the Museo Ebraico, which display sacrificial clothing and precious silver jewelry from the 17th to 19th centuries.
