Introduction to the first tombstone: There are three "Wanzhong Tomb" monuments in the square, the first of which was built in November 1896 by Gu Yuanxun, an alternate Taoist from Zhili, after he took over Lushun again. Yes, the words "Wan Zhong Tomb" on the tombstone were also inscribed by him himself. However, this tombstone was stolen by the Japanese after the Russo-Japanese War ended and Japan reoccupied Lushun.
