Han Yipo introduced: Entering the gate, an ancient road comes into view. The ancient road is paved with stone strips. There are traces of wheels rolling and wind and rain erosion on it. It is uneven. It is a thousand-year-old road. During the Spring and Autumn Period, before the three families of Han, Zhao and Wei were divided into Jin, Hancheng belonged to the Jin State. After the division of Jin, Hancheng belonged to the "Land of Xihe" of Wei State. The Wei State established Shaoliang City here. In order to open up transportation between Shaoliang and other places in Hexi, this avenue was dug on the cliff in front. Hancheng is the fiefdom of King Wu of the Western Zhou Dynasty, named "Hanhou Kingdom", so this road is called "Han Yi Slope". "Yi" means big, which means that this road is the widest, longest and oldest road in Hancheng. Later, the Sima Qian Temple was built on the north side, and the locals in Hancheng also called it "Sima Slope" and "Sima Ancient Road".
