Introduction to Xizhu Nunnery: Xizhu Nunnery is located in the west gate of Weishan County. The year when this nunnery was first built is unknown. Judging from the existing architectural style, it should have been built in the middle to late Qing Dynasty. The nunnery faces south and is composed of four entrances and three courtyards on the left and right central axes. The back hall houses the statue of Guanyin, and the main hall houses the statues of the three officials. The back hall of Xizhu Nunnery is a single-eaves resting on the top of the mountain. It is three rooms wide and has a high frame. The four corners of the roof and the two hills have large curvatures. The entire building has a stretched, beautiful and elegant appearance. Under the eaves of the front of the apse is a structure called a "hanging bucket" by local carpenters. Its structure is similar to the hanging flower door of northern architecture. The structure is varied and full of layers. In 1987, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Weishan Yi and Hui Autonomous County.
