Introduction to Camoes Cave: There is a cave in the park called Camoes Cave. Camoes was a well-known poet in Portugal. He was exiled to Macau because he offended palace officials and was not allowed to live in the country. He lived in seclusion in this cave. Portugal's famous epic poem "The Soul of Portugal" was created here. In 1849, Maquis customized a bronze bust of Camões in Paris and placed it in the cave, and built the cave into a Portuguese-style arch. The stone wall in front of the cave was also embedded with black marble, which was made of Chinese and Portuguese materials. The text is engraved: "Superior talent and virtue were marred by jealousy; strange poems became popular, and monuments were erected to be passed down to the world."
