Introduction to Dangge Xidu Palace: is the fourth hall, commonly known as the "Tunfu Hall". It is the place where lamas who violate religious rules are punished, which is equivalent to the current local court. There are nine statues of Vajra, Vajra, and Chakrasamvara in the hall. They look ferocious and terrifying. They are decorated with skull necklaces around their necks, with human heads upside down, and evil ghosts stepping on their feet, holding weapons in their hands. Such statues are collectively called "angry statues". Lamaism believes that they are the incarnations of major Bodhisattvas, transformed into an angry form in order to eradicate heresy and suppress evil.
