Introduction to Luohan Hall: Luohan Hall is located in the south courtyard of the temple. It was first built in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of 200 years. There are 500 Arhats in the hall. It is not only unique in shape, but also unique in its craftsmanship. Either sitting or standing, squatting or lying down, happy or angry, each one is lifelike and full of emotions. It can be described as an eternal masterpiece.
There is a folk proverb: There is Baoguang (Chengdu) above, Xiyuan (Suzhou) below, Biyun (Beijing) in the north, and Guiyuan (Wuhan) in the middle. It refers to the five hundred Arhats in these four temples. The hall is the most representative and the essence of Buddhist statues.
