Introduction to Tianchi: According to legend, when Empress Nuwa was patching up the sky, two sacred stones fell from the sky and became the current Zhujiashan and Fengjiashan. The big tiankeng created when the sacred stone fell down was filled with water from the Tianhe River. It was as bright and clean as a mirror, and the scenery was so picturesque that even the Queen Mother came to bathe here. Later, when the Seven Fairies found out about this, they also wanted to take a bath in Tianchi, but they were blocked by the Queen Mother. It was forbidden, so the Jade Emperor, who loved his daughter, dug a small Tianchi under the big Tianchi. In this way, two Tianchis, the upper and the lower, were formed.
