Introduction to Bailong Pond: Bailong Pond is located in the south area of the park, on the south side of the south building, with a water surface of more than 200 square meters and a water depth of 2 meters. On the north side is a large relief "Nine-nine Returning Cranes", and on the south side it is closely connected with the Goose Pond. There are patches of water lilies and mist-like fountains, and the scenery is excellent.
According to historical records, in the second year of Longqing in the Ming Dynasty (1568 AD), there were frequent fires in Wuchang and the area along the river, and the people were horrified. There were traveling alchemists who offered advice. The residents used a shackle as a pool on the left side of the building, and poured water from the river to worship the white dragon to calm Zhurong. The result was that it was not burned for a long time, and later generations called it the "White Dragon Pool".
