Introduction to the Yongyue Platform: The Yongyue Platform is located in the southern area of the park. It was built roughly in the Ming Dynasty around the 16th century. At that time, the word "Yongyue" was engraved on the boulder on Fengqi Mountain (today's Fenghuang Mountain) behind the Chenghuang Temple in Hanyang Prefecture. People moved it to Snake Mountain and raised the pillars to build a platform. After Yongyue Platform was demolished in 1955 for the construction of the Yangtze River Bridge, these Qing Dynasty stone pillars were moved to Wuchang Shouyi Park at the southern end of Snake Mountain.
