Introduction to the Sword Tempering Pond: The Sword Tempering Pond is closely connected to the sword-making of Ganjiang Moye and his wife. The sword-grinding pond on the sacred mountain is where generals temper their swords; the sword-testing stone on Poshan Mountain, commonly known as stone egg, is where generals test their swords; and there is also the tomb of generals on Chizhu Mountain. Gan Jiang and his wife Moye are famous sword-makers in ancient Chinese legends, and are also the names of the two swords. The swords they forged were carbon-impregnated steel swords with sharp blades. They were one of the great achievements of the Warring States Period in my country. They were not only the earliest in Chinese history, but also earlier than any other country in the world. In 1985, Shenshan Park restored cultural landscapes such as the "Iron Threshold", "Sword Tempering Pond" and "Sword Testing Stone".
