Introduction to Shijian Hall: Shijian Hall is the ancestral property of the Xu family in Zhenze. It is located in the west section of Baota Street, facing south and facing water on three sides. The entire building covers an area of more than 2,500 square meters, with a wide area of five rooms and a six-entry hall style high-walled deep house. There are a total of 147 large and small houses. It integrates river ports, shops, shops, streets, halls, inner houses, gardens, and lower houses. Houses are built in the street, and the houses contain streets, creating a dignified and simple traditional Chinese style that is both dynamic and quiet, solemn and harmonious, and official. It has triple functions of Confucianism, Confucianism and Business, which is rare in modern Jiangnan folk architecture. It can be called the gate of a water town mansion.
