Introduction to Würzburg Palace: Würzburg Palace (Residenz) was built in the 18th century and is one of the largest and most magnificent Baroque palaces in Germany. This gorgeous Baroque palace was once the residence of the Bishop and Grand Duke of Würzburg. It includes palaces and gardens. It is known as the "Palace of Ten Thousand Palaces". It has a horseshoe shape in plan, with a length of 175 meters and a width of 90 meters. It has two wings surrounding it. A grand wing built on the courtyard. The main building has three floors and the annex building has two floors. The main building is decorated with carved marble and a projecting foyer opens onto the garden. There is also an oval hall on the front of the central part of the wing. These halls are in a typical Baroque style and are very solemn, but they are obviously influenced by French architecture.
