Introduction to the Erquan Pavilion: The Erquan Pavilion was first built in the early Southern Song Dynasty. It was specially ordered to be built by Zhao Gou, Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty, when he visited this place, and was inscribed with the four words "source of living water". The top of the pavilion is decorated with two dragons playing with beads. The current pavilion was rebuilt in the early years of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (862 AD). The stone inscription "The Second Spring in the World" on the wall of the pavilion was written by Zhao Mengfu, a calligrapher of the Yuan Dynasty. The spring water flows from the bottom of Ganglan Hall to the lower pool through the culvert.
