Introduction to Liu Hulan: A fearless, fierce and powerful heroine - Liu Hulan, a native of Wenshui County, Shanxi Province, is the youngest female martyr known to be a member of the Communist Party of China. Yan Xishan, then chairman of the National Government of Shanxi Province, sent troops to arrest Liu Hulan on January 12, 1947. Liu Hulan died heroically under the guillotine at the age of 15 because she refused to surrender. Subsequently, Liu Hulan was recognized as an official member of the Communist Party of China by the Jinsui Branch of the Communist Party of China. Mao Zedong wrote an inscription for him: "Greatness in life, glory in death."
