Introduction to the ancient city of Xuanhua: Xuanhua was founded in the first year of Wende of Emperor Xinzong of the Tang Dynasty (888). In the 32nd year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1693), the Xuanfu Guardhouse was abandoned and replaced with Xuanhua in order to promote enlightenment. Xuanhua got its name from this mansion. Because it is the first prefecture west of Beijing, it is called "the first prefecture in west Beijing". Xuanhua Ancient City Tourist Area is dominated by many national and provincial key cultural relics protection units. It is a huge tourist area characterized by ancient exploration.
