Introduction to Sage Square: Sage Square includes statues of sages, statues of famous educators of all ages in China, a forest of monuments, stone carvings of the Analects of Confucius, a forest of steles with quotations from sages, a wall of Confucius’ deeds, etc. The statue of Confucius is the focus of the square. Other sages include Laozi, Mencius, Dong Zhongshu, Han Yu and Zhu Xi.
