Introduction to the Drum Tower: Xi'an Drum Tower is one of the largest Drum Towers in China. It is located at the southern end of the North Gate of West Street in Xi'an City, facing the Bell Tower in the east. It was built in the 13th year of Hongwu, Zhu Yuanzhang, Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty. It is four times larger than the Bell Tower. Years old, it has a history of 625 years. It was rebuilt twice in the thirty-eighth year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and the fifth year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The architectural form of Xi'an Drum Tower is Xieshan style with double eaves and three drops of water. The high platform brick base is 52.6 meters long from east to west, 38 meters wide from north to south, and 7.7 meters high. There is a coupon door in the middle of the north and south, with a height and width of 6 meters. The Drum Tower is rectangular in shape, divided into upper and lower floors. The base is 38 meters wide, 52.6 meters long and 7.7 meters high. The whole body is made of green bricks.
