Plaque introduction: There are two plaques hanging on the north and south sides of the Drum Tower. The south side is "the land of civil and military affairs". It was inscribed by Zhao Kehuai, the governor of Shaanxi Province, in the 18th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1580 AD) after the reconstruction of the Drum Tower was completed. To the north is "Sound Heard in the Sky", which is written by Li Yunkuan, a famous scholar in Xianning County.
