Introduction to the ruins of Hanyuan Hall: Hanyuan Hall was the first main hall of the former Daming Palace of the Tang Dynasty and the landmark building of Chang'an City in the Tang Dynasty. It was built in the third year of Longshuo (663) and destroyed in the second year of Emperor Xizong's Guangqi (663). 886), on New Year's Day and Winter Solstice, the emperor mostly held congratulatory activities here. The ruins of Hanyuan Hall are relatively complete. In 2003, the Hanyuan Hall ruins protection project implemented by UNESCO, China, and Japan was fully completed. Hanyuan Hall is more than 400 steps (approximately 588 meters) from Danfeng Gate to the south and 500 steps (approximately 735 meters) from east to west. The palace is extremely wide. Looking at Danfeng Gate from the base of Hanyuan Hall, it is very majestic.
