Introduction to the bronze chariots and horses: The bronze chariots and horses in the Qin Mausoleum were unearthed 20 meters west of the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang. In 1980, during the partial trial excavation of the copper chariots and horses pit, two large chariots placed one behind the other were unearthed in a wooden coffin. The bronze chariot and horses were broken when they were unearthed, but were restored to their original condition after repairs.
