Liu Qi, a general who fought against the Jin Dynasty in the Southern Song Dynasty, was proficient in riding, archery and military tactics. In the battle of Shunchang in present-day Anhui, he led 20,000 soldiers of the Song Dynasty and defeated Wushu of Jin Dynasty with 100,000 iron coins. He became famous in China and was selected as an annotated battle example in "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu as a famous military battle example. Because he denounced Qin Hui's greed for power and ruined the country, he was demoted to Tanzhou and lived in Zhaoshan for six years.
