Introduction to the Wind Worship Tower: The Wind Worship Tower, also known as Wuhou Palace, is located on the top of Nanping Mountain at the Red Cliff site. It was built to commemorate Zhuge Liang's "setting up an altar, borrowing the east wind, and helping Zhou Lang" during the Battle of Chibi. It was rebuilt in the 16th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1383 AD), and later in the 38th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1610 AD) and the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936). There are now two halls and one hall connected from front to back, surrounded by Green pines and green cypresses, lined with newly built pavilions, are majestic and grand in scale.
