Introduction to the carved dragon stele: There are two soaring dragon stele erected on the north and south sides of the west footpath of the stone archway. One is the "stele for the imperial decree to rebuild the mosque" erected during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The text is written by Feng Congwu, and the stele is in the shade. It is engraved with the handwriting of Mi Fu (a Hui nationality), a great calligrapher of the Song Dynasty, "Tao Dharma can reach heaven and earth"; a stele of "Edict to build a mosque" erected in 1768 are both treasures of Chinese calligraphy.
