Introduction to Xie Gong Pavilion: In order to commemorate Xie Lingyun, the originator of Chinese landscape, this pavilion was built on a huge rock on the east bank of Sanhuangjing in 1996. It is square and has a bluestone tablet in the middle of the pavilion, 2 meters high and 0.8 meters wide. On the front is engraved the popular "epic" "Zhou Xiang Xianyan Searching for the Immortal Traces of the Three Emperors" left by Xie Gong for the Xianyan landscape after his visit to Xianyan. It was handwritten by Mr. Shen Peng, the current chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. On the back are engraved two exquisite poems by Wu Chenyan, a poet from the early Qing Dynasty, chanting "Three Emperors' Well".
