Introduction to the Bell and Drum Tower: The Bell and Drum Tower is located on the east and west sides of Duanmen and Pheasant Gate, respectively connected to the east and west corners of the front wall of the main temple. Founded in the 37th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, the existing buildings are relics from the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The bell and drum floors are square in plan and have two floors. The lower floor is a brick pier and the upper floor is a wooden double eaves resting top. The tile roofs are all made of glazed components, with all the kissing animals and lifelike shapes. The two buildings have the same appearance and symmetrical position. They are in the attic style. Their main purpose is to hang bells and tie drums to show their majesty.
